Find your missing in action TV remote or other household gizmos with your very own Lost and Found Universal Locator
If you’re like us, every now and then you probably have to throw down the sofa cushions trying to find the TV remote or you just cant remember where you put the car keys. Don’t be ashamed or feel bad and don’t worry, your memory is fine, misplacing stuff is absolutely normal (at least we think it is).
But thanks to the Lost and Found (Lost & Found) Universal Pager / Locator you wont be loosing stuff for long. The Lost and Found system offers a set of tags (2 or 5) which you can attach to your frequently misplaced items and when the inevitable happens you can switch the dial on the Transmitter to the desired locator tag and push the button which will cause that tag to start beeping. After you find the missing item, you simply press the button on the tag to stop the beeping.
The Lost and Found also comes with a little dry erase board (size: 114.3 x 114.3 x 3 mm) to list the tagged items against the corresponding tag number. The transmitter (size: 55 x 42 x 16.55 mm) is removable from its dock on the board and offers an approximate range of 80 Feet. Each tag (size: 49 x 27 x 5.9 mm) comes with a removable cover for easy battery replacement, with the battery (CR2 3V) lasting about 6-8 months depending on usage. The transmitter battery on the other hand will last 2-3 years (also usage dependent).
The Lost and Found (Lost & Found) Universal Pager / Locator has been created by Ryan Lamanna and is currently raising funds on KickStarter, we’ll have more once its officially launched. UPDATE: The Lost and Found was unsuccessful in raising the required funding.
